For the past month, I have been a voracious reader of anything that would help create this year a better year than last year. I highly recommend the books I have read to anyone who is intent on achieving their full potential. For my next few posts, I may share with you what I took in from each book. Let's begin with this book:
*Awaken the Giant Within by Anthony Robbins (1992). In this book, Tony Robbins speaks of everyone's ability to do anything they love to do begins with a positive mindset. He maintains that asking ourselves the right questions will lead us to a more favorable thought process. Knowing our passion would guide us to our ultimate goal. He encourages us to ask ourselves The Morning Power Questions to help us look forward to the day:
*What am I happy about in my life now?
*What am I excited about in my life now?
*What am I proud about in my life now?
*What am I grateful about in my life now?
*What am I enjoying most in my life right now?
*What am I committed to in my life right now?
*Who do I love? Who loves me?
Before going to sleep, he recommends the following Evening Power Questions to help us evaluate our daily activities and redirect us to our ultimate goal:
*What have I given today?
*What did I learn today?
*How has today added to the quality of my life or how I can use today as an investment in my future?
So friends, start you year right! Ask the right questions! Let's make this year a better year than last year!
