The so-called "rat race" as one makes a living in the United States leaves people with mental and physical exhaustion. Getting home tired late at night and expectations to wake up early the next day and do it over again is quite a pitiful picture.

I chose not to live my life that way.

I chose to enjoy my life by creating a balance.
